Biomass boilers are ideal for country estates, rural businesses, nursing homes, hotels, schools and family homes that are off the natural gas network.
Backed by years of experience, Arbormass will not only provide specialist advice on the ideal biomass heating system to meet your needs, but will also help you access any support grants that are currently available.
We care deeply about delivering a personal and professional service and will work with you to design and install a cost effective and efficient renewable heating system that will benefit you for many years to come.
With fossil fuel costs spiralling and new Government financial incentives introduced for winter 2011, there has never been a better time to install a green energy system.
Arbormass is based in the Vale of Evesham with easy access to Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire and surrounding counties.
BIOMASS AND ARBORMASS
We are experts in designing, supplying and installing cost effective, wood fuelled biomass heating and hot water systems.
We also supply a range of log gasification and combined fuel boilers, so whatever your home or business heating needs, Arbormass can help you meet them.
WHAT IS BIOMASS?
Biomass is renewable green energy produced from sustainable forests, industrial waste and agricultural crops.
The most common biomass fuels are -
- Wood logs – sourced from local/ sustainable woodlands
- Wood pellets – compacted sawdust pellets from UK and European manufacturers
- Wood chips – a waste product from timber production
- Miscanthus or Elephant Grass – a commercial agricultural crop providing high dry matter fuel content.
Biomass is cost effective too. Modern boilers can now achieve up to an impressive 93% operational efficiency.
BENEFIT YOUR BUSINESS WITH BIOMASS
Biomass heating will help your business cut costs and reduce its environmental impact.
Because wood fuel is usually sourced locally, biomass is cheaper than oil and LPG. Wood fuel prices tend to stay stable which makes it easier for you to plan and budget.
Today’s automatic biomass boilers are also easy to use. They are self cleaning and minimal ash residue is produced.
Biomass and other renewable energy users also benefit from a number of Government grants.
WHY ETA BIOMASS BOILERS?
With our wide experience in the industry we have tried and tested various types of biomass boiler. As a result, we now always recommend ETA boilers to our customers.
In our opinion ETA (pronounced ETTA) are the best quality automatic boilers on the market.
Competitively priced and manufactured in Austria, the build quality and operational reliability is unbeatable.
Safety and economy features are second to none and, with a compact design and push button controls, ETA boilers are also easy to install and operate.
Today, hundreds of ETA boilers are supplying biomass heating to homes and businesses across the UK.
Arbormass also supplies the ATMOS range of Czechoslovakian log gasification boilers.
BIOMASS USE WITH SOLAR PANELS
In some cases biomass boilers and solar panels can work efficiently together and this is particularly practical in the summer months when no room heating is required.
Energy produced by solar panels can be used to supplement the heating that an accumulator tank requires to produce hot water. This means less seasonal use of the biomass boiler and as a result, substantial cost savings.
Arbormass expertise comes as a result of many years working in the renewable energy industry.
We have a passion and a specialism – and that’s biomass heating.
Our experience and knowledge guarantees that your system will be installed on time, to budget and with minimal disruption to your business.
We work in partnership with biomass boiler manufacturers in Austria and elsewhere in Europe which enable us to provide the most up to date range of equipment.
KEY TERMS EXPLAINED
Containerised heating plants – These are convenient installations in containers, complete with a separate fuel store (wood chip or pellet) which are plumbed into your existing system. Arbormass can supply and install these for you.
Heating stations – These are external boiler houses and fuel stores that feed a number of properties to provide heat and hot water.
Underground main – A highly insulated and waterproof flow and return pipe which ensures minimal heat loss when used with heating stations.
Heat exchangers – An efficient means of transferring heat from the boiler’s circulatory system to the internal plumbing of the individual property.
Output range – The heating range of your boiler. Arbormass can install boilers to burn all manner of biomass giving from 20kW to 1mW outputs.
Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) - The Government’s funding scheme which at the moment supports business installations to ensure the 2020 renewable targets for UK and Europe are achieved.
Our dedicated team of experts are here to provide you with the most up to date information on grants and will work closely with you to design and deliver the most cost effective and highly efficient renewable energy solution.
